"Stand together yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart."

"Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music."

"Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup."

"Let there be spaces in your togetherness."

"For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed."

"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."

"Are they not the same wounds that are cleansing and healing?"

"The same bosom cannot hold both cynicism and faith."

"Your daily life is your temple and your religion."

"Whenever you enter a temple, take with you your whole self."

"And he alone is great who turns the voice of the wind into a song made sweeter by his own loving."

"You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts."

"And the master's voice is but a little ripple upon the dark, deep sea."

"Much of your pain is self-chosen. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self."
